Specialized Master Programs

Bocconi University offers a wide range of postgraduate Master programs. They aim to meet the educational needs of recent graduates or graduates with some experience who would like to expand their skill set in specific areas.

As for the academic year 2023-2024 there will be 9 Specialized Master programs: 6 in the fields of economics and management (2 of which are held in English), open also to graduates from non-economic and business programs; and 3 Specialized Master programs in law (2 of which are held in English) .

In addition, the SDA Bocconi School of Management coordinates a variety of different post-experience programs (including Specialized Executive Masters, MBAs and Executive courses).

The Value of a Bocconi Master Program

Specialized Master programs are based on the first-class teaching and experience of Bocconi faculty members, who complete avant-garde research and have close contact with employers. Lectures feature strong student interaction and a variety of activities (including case studies, company visits, guest speakers and workshops), combining theoretical topics with practical applications.

Our pre-experience Specialized Master programs focus on specific topics, company functions, market segments or areas of expertise. They are designed for students who have graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably within the last 2 years. A select cohort of students with a variety of backgrounds and coming from universities located all over the world make up each class group.

Students acquire a set of skills that are immediately attractive on the job market. The mix of theory and practice, which includes a curricular internship after courses, is particularly effective, and is confirmed by graduate placement statistics.

Main Features

Masters last one academic year, with between 400 and 500 teaching hours plus an internship. Programs award between 60 and 72 educational credits (with each credit corresponding to 25 hours of student work).
Students are required to attend at least 80% of the total duration of the program and pass one or more exams assessing the skills acquired.
Admission follows a selection process based on the applicant’s CV, a test and/or an individual interview.
